Anita's quilts and quilting

A professional longarm machine quilter for hire and some of the work I've done.

Number 14 for 2012

When I posted about starting the whole cloth quilt I had completely forgotten to post about this finished quilt.

I did a swag design on the large inside border and straight lines on the outside border.  The next inside border has a flying geese (or arrows) design.  It creates some movement to the quilt.

I did a leaf type design on the blocks.  The design also creates movement when you look at the whole quilt.

I did straight line boxes in the sashing to give the eye a place to rest.

Here’s a view of the back.

I called and left a message the quilt was finished but they must be out of town.  I’m still working on the whole cloth quilt.  My goal is still to have it finished by Thursday night so it can be picked up on Friday.  I have an appointment tomorrow afternoon but my goal is still achievable.
