A professional longarm machine quilter for hire and some of the work I've done.
I finished the cross hatching around the outside of the quilt. Remember how there was fullness around the outside edge after quilting the row of feathers?
Here’s how it looks now. The stitching draws up the fabric taking up the slack. The fullness is still there but now it’s spread out evenly.
It was late when I finished the outside edge cross hatching so I didn’t get started on the center medallion area yet. I need a break from all the straight line work. Today I’ll work on the inside feather instead of the medallion.
