Anita's quilts and quilting

A professional longarm machine quilter for hire and some of the work I've done.

A finished quilt

I’m not moving very fast on the quilts these days.  The quilt I had on the machine came off and this one went on.

I did a pointy leaf design on the border.  It seemed to fit the design of the top better than a traditional feather.  Hmm…. maybe I’m just thinking “modern quilting” these days.  There seems to be a lot of it going around.

I did a flower, leaf, and curl design on the inside border and sashing.  The design goes out from the corner to meet at the middle of the blocks.

I did line dancing on the blocks.  Here is one block.

and more line dancing

Line dancing is the easiest way to create individual, but coordinating, designs on the various sampler block quilts.  In the same way the different blocks go together so does the line dancing.  Now to do the binding on this one and start the quilting of the next quilt.
