Sunlight! It’s so bright that it competed with the camera. When I took a picture it made the whole room look dark but it was the middle of the day.
The sun comes through a skylight window on sunny days. Usually right around lunch time so that’s when I take my break. I can’t see to quilt with the sun in my eyes. I cover whatever quilt is on the machine with a fleece blanket to prevent fading and come back about a half hour later.
I’m so glad to see sunshine! I was getting depressed with all the cloudy days. I can deal with the cold and the slushy, dirty snow but endless days of no sunshine is hard to live with. I believe all around the country people are peeking out of their hibernation to see better days ahead. Today I’ll work on this one a little while (it’s mine) and then start on a customer quilt. My batting order arrived late yesterday.
What is the quilt pattern? I really like it.
It’s a modern double wedding ring pattern by Jenny Pedigo of Sew Kind of Wonderful. http://sewkindofwonderful.blogspot.com/ It’s very easy to make.
I hear you, Anita! We had a bit of sunshine for a couple of days, and now we are cloudy, windy, and waiting for possible severe weather. Sheesh! How we can go from absolutely freezing with snow last week, and then to 70 degrees with scary wind forecasted for today, well, I haven’t a clue!
